South Sudan Trade Marks

Trade Mark Registration in South Sudan

There is currently no legislation in terms of Industrial Property in South Sudan and therefore it is not possible to obtain registered trade mark, patent or design rights.

Trade Marks: Cautionary notices may be published in the Official Gazette in order to protect trade marks by publication. Cautionary notices have the same legal effect of other legal systems. Once the trade mark is published in the Official Gazette it has full recognition by the authorities as the sole property of the applicant.
